Current usage
Whether AI is used by nobody, a few enthusiasts, several teams without a shared approach, or in structured workflows, and which tools are actually available.
Answer twelve questions about how your organisation currently uses AI, who is driving it, how sensitive data is handled and what budget exists. You get a readiness tier, Exploring, Building or Scaling, and a plain recommendation for the next step. This is FuKazee's own practical assessment, built from its corporate training work in Kenya, not a validated psychometric instrument.
Four areas that, in FuKazee's experience training Kenyan banks, companies, NGOs, universities and public institutions, decide whether an AI rollout sticks or fizzles.
Whether AI is used by nobody, a few enthusiasts, several teams without a shared approach, or in structured workflows, and which tools are actually available.
Team size, whether anyone has had structured training, and whether there are internal champions with time to help colleagues.
Whether a usage policy exists, how sensitive data is kept out of public tools, and whether AI-assisted output is checked before it is used.
Whether leadership has a stated position, a sponsor and a budget line, and which outcome matters most in the next six months.
Ten of the twelve questions are scored from 0 to 3, for a maximum of 30. Two are informational and shape the recommendation rather than the score.
AI use is informal or absent, there is no policy, and leadership has not taken a position. The recommendation is usually a foundational workshop for leadership and one team, with an AI usage policy as the first deliverable.
Several people use AI, some rules exist, and there is appetite but no shared method. The recommendation is usually the full seven-module programme for the document-heavy teams, with governance built in.
Policy, champions and budget are in place. The recommendation is usually role-specific deep-dives and workflow redesign, and you may be ready to run future training in-house with an external kick-off.
Answer for the organisation as it is now, not as you would like it to be. Your result and a short recommendation appear at the end; a member of the FuKazee team follows up on WhatsApp or email.
This assessment needs JavaScript to score your answers. With it switched off you can still read every question below, then message FuKazee on WhatsApp to talk it through.
This is FuKazee's own practical assessment, not a validated instrument. Treat the tier as a conversation starter, not a verdict.
Ten questions score from 0 (nothing in place) to 3 (in place and working), giving a maximum of 30. Two questions, team size and priority outcome, are not scored; they shape the recommendation and help the FuKazee team prepare for the follow-up conversation. The tier bands are 0 to 10 Exploring, 11 to 20 Building, and 21 to 30 Scaling.
The questions are the ones FuKazee asks on discovery calls with organisations considering corporate AI training. They are weighted equally because, in practice, a missing usage policy sinks a rollout as surely as a missing budget. There is no research instrument behind the score, and it is not a benchmark against other organisations.
